Marcus Dupree is a former professional football player. A highly sought-after college football recruit, he played at Oklahoma, where he was named Football News Freshman of the Year, second team All-American and Big Eight Conference Newcomer of the Year. Dupree played his final collegiate season of football in his sophomore year.

Dupree joined the United States Football League the following season and signed with the New Orleans Breakers in 1984. He played for the Breakers for two seasons before a knee injury forced him to leave the game. Four years outn of football, an NFL legend would convince him to try and get back intp the game, which Dupree did. Dupree ended up asking permission to work out with the Los Angeles Rams, which he was granted. He did so well in the workouts that he earned himself a contract with the team. Dupree was offcially back in the pros. Dupree's legendary comeback story was awe-inspiring, as he wore the number 34 for Walter Payton, the NFL legend who had motivated him to get back into the game. 

After he was released by the Rams, Dupree performed as a professional wrestler for the USWA in 1995. He also ran a sports bar and worked as a casino-greeter for a short period of time. In 2011, Dupree was diagnosed with prostate cancer but recovered. Earlier in 2011, he was running a pro wrestling promotion organization, called Mid South Wrestling.
