Dominique Wilkins is a NBA Hall of Famer who was nicknamed "The Human Highlight Reel" for his incredible display of athleticism in game. At the University of Georgia Wilkins was named the SEC Player of the Year in 1981 and left college for the draft after his junior year.

Wilkins was originally drafted by the Utah Jazz but was eventually traded to the Atlanta Hawks before ever playing for Utah. Atlanta is where he would spend the majority of his career and solidified himself as the Human Highlight Reel. Dominique played 12 seasons for the hawks and averaged more than 25 points a game for ten consecutive years including a scoring title where he averaged 30.3 points per game in 1985-86.

During his time with the Hawks Wilkins and Michael Jordan had one of the best rivalries in Slam Dunk Contest history. In 1987 and 1988 the two superstars went back to back in the competition's finals with jaw dropping performances. After playing for the Hawks Wilkins would also go on to play for the L.A. Clippers, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, and retired with the Orlando Magic in 1999. The Human Highlight Reel would finish his career with 26,668 points, 7,167 rebounds, 2,667 assist, and was named and All-Star 9 times. . 

In 2004 he became the Vice President of Basketball for the Hawks.
